So far so good. I wish they would have dropped the delivery by my garage like I asked and Im missing one of hooks on the back of the smoker, but my first smoke was great. Had no issues with keeping heat consistent - ran a touch hot around 290 for over 4 hours and just had to add wood chunks for some smoke. Just need to use it to get everything dialed in but did a lot less babysitting than my old offset vertical smoker and got a lot of flavor out of it. Going for a longer smoke this weekend so expecting to need to refill the firebox at least once with charcoal.

As a fellow pitmaster I like and then I don’t like this Smoker. My issue is, using the center firebox even tho it’s in the middle, the heat distribution tends to be on one side of this smoker, particularly the left side only for me. The right side takes a bit to heat up evenly. Next, you do NOT and I repeat need to put a much fuel to heat this up. Put at least 10-15 pcs of briquettes and one half stick to burn and you are good, especially for a LOW n Slow cook. Thankfully I learned these tips quick fast and in a hurry and hope it helps the next person seeking to purchase. You can grill perfect on this but again do NOT put a lot of fuel or you’ll burn your food quick and fast.

I began smoking meats a couple years back. I started with a Webber Smokey mountain. It did great. But I was ready for a bigger and what I thought was better one. While I love how this cooks, within 4 months, half of my paint is peeling off. While still functioning, that doesn’t give me much hope it will last long. I am disappointed. I bought it expecting it would last quite a while. I should have just bought a cheap one.

the parts are not numbered so you have to figure out what is what even tho the instructions have them numbered. but it feels good and i am excited to use it after getting it together!

i think this is truly a really nice smoker. once i learn how to get it going. The instructions were spot on and everything was in the box. Oklahoma Joe's for the win💪💪💯🎊
