Didn’t achieve anything that I wanted it to do including self closing the gate. The brackets are too small for 1 5/8 inch pipe and you can only get so much tension on them.

Installation was fast and easy. They seem to work well so far

So this does exactly what it is advertised to do. I recognize that it is to defeat cattle elopement but I swear pitbulls think they are full horned steer. Anyway I needed it to prevent pittie elopement and humans from lifting the fence off of the standard post hinges to intrude. It does that and is super easy to install over standard chain link fences and gates. It also auto closes the gate for the times I'm rolling trash out and have my hands full.

Heavy duty solution for folks leaving the gate open and my puppy escaping I'm very pleased

Very good quality and easy to assemble.
