Panneau décoratif en acier galvanisé thermolaqué 3 pi x 6 pi

I purchased five of these panels to add interest to our very long and very boring fence. Buyers should note that the panels are designed to be mounted on posts attached to the ends to make a freestanding panel. It took us quite a while to work out how to mount them to the fence. We initially tried to come up with a way to have concealed screws inside the frame, but this turned out to be nearly impossible because the pattern makes the screws inaccessible. Finally we came up with this solution 1) Determined the spacing and installed lug head screws on the fence at the center top point of each panel. Used a level to make sure they were even. 2) pre drilled 4 holes on each side of the frame, equally spaced, and one at the bottom center. Made them a little bigger than the screws to allow for expansion 3) notched the inside top of the frame, and hung the panel on it. Used a level to square it up. 4) used long black screws to attach the panel to the fence through predrilled holes. Do not screw the panels tight, leave some room for thermal expansion. Yes it was a major project but it worked!

The only thing I don't like about the shipping is the fact the product is shipped from the US and it takes longer because it has to go through customs. ONCE IT'S IN CANADA IT GOES FASTER. All things considered, I'm happy overall.

I ordered two of these to mount on my gates. They are absolutely beautiful but they’re both damaged. They were shipped in separate boxes but both had dented and damaged flanges causing the panels to be warped so they can’t be mounted flat on the gates. The return shipping from Chicago to California would cost too much to return so I had to settle for a 10% refund from Wayfair. Pieces this large should be reinforced by the shipper to prevent this type of damage. It’s unfortunate because they would’ve been exactly as I imagined for the gates.

Gorgeous!!! But it isn't suitable for a double sided free standing decorative piece. I added another panel to be able to use it as a room divider. Ok as a single piece if you're mounting it on a wall as a decoration.
