I spent nearly 3 days trying to install this product. It should have taken 3 or 4 hours. Each time I installed the awning the arms would not hold the fabric up and the awning would droop. It took much trial and error (and consternation) to finally realize that the pre-assembled arms were assembled at the factory backwards. I had to take the pre-installed adjustment mechanism off the ends of each arm and switch them in order to get the awning to function properly. Now that it is installed properly I think it will do the job but it does seem somewhat flimsy. We will see how well it holds up.
