I'm afraid I haven't even opened it yet. I should not have bought such a large awning for my small house. It's too big for me (91 yo female) to attach by myself and there is no help around. I may have to return it, if possible, and get a smaller one.

We purchased the awning, not knowing if it would work for us..with a few minor alterations it is perfect…gives us the shade we need for a few hours each morning..the colour is vibrant—perfect!

This awning is sturdy and fabric is pretty much water proof. I'm using it on a downstairs terrace under an upstairs balcony to help direct water away when it rains. Works extremely well and keeps me from having to install an ugly gutter.
