Let’s start with what I liked
The greenhouse was reasonably easy to put together
The plastic is thick enough to genuinely protect from weather
All the pieces are clearly marked
The directions were in pictures, so much easier to see than tiny print in 4 languages.
The plastic is long enough to tuck under the bottom of the greenhouse to keep it a little more weatherized.
It came with grounding stakes. I built mine in a sheltered spot on my balcony so with the weight of the plants it hopefully will have enough protection to not blow away or collapse, because I have no way to stake it on my balcony.
Now. The things I wasn’t a fan of
If you don’t pound the struts into the connectors (while somehow being careful not to bend the struts) the roof won’t fit on at all, there is no room for error.
The shelves don’t quite fit. (They will hold themselves on once they are loaded with plants, but in the meantime, they fall all over the place while you’re trying to build). Despite what the directions say, I recommend putting the shelves in only after you put the plastic over it.
The shelves are not sturdy. They are a light metal mesh, similar to what modern standard closets have when they are built cheaply.
There were two very thin struts that were supposed to go across the top, but there is only one insertion hole and it will only fit one strut. My greenhouse seems to be holding up fine without them so far.
The zippers are not sturdy, both of my zippers were closed when I got the greenhouse, but some of the teeth had split open so the closed zippers had open spots in the middle. I’m sure we’ve all dealt with this and you just have to open and close the zipper again to fix it, but it indicates that it’s a weak zipper.
It was not entirely intuitive which direction the door needed to go, turning around the entire greenhouse so I can put the door in the right place wasn’t a terribly hard job, but it was pretty inconvenient.
For some reason, I envisioned a single zipper in the middle of the door but instead, it’s two zippers on either side and you have to tie the door upwards. I would’ve preferred a single zipper that you could tie to the side, but this is OK.
Overall, it’s a decent greenhouse, and probably worth what I spent on it.
