Actually, I give this item negative stars!! What a disappointment. The 4th of 4 boxes arrived yesterday. Note: All boxes arrived damaged. By damaged, I mean corners of the box were completely ripped open and parts were falling out as FedEx delivery person pulled the last box out of the truck. The delivery person even had to run back up to the door because he found a part laying in the street. I've opened two boxes, thus far. These boxes contain some of the roofing materials. The very inexpensive wood frames are broken and cracked in several different places. I would not choose this wood to be used for a lightweight shelf, let alone a structure I plan to stand & sit beneath. The wood is frail, brittle, and layered. These layers are separating, splitting apart, and have already failed. I am unable to imagine this wood being used to support a roof on an outdoor structure. Major safety issue! Other damaged parts include both metal crossbar. One has a big dent in the center, and is cracked and shattered at both ends, along bolt. The other crossbar is not square. It was bolted at an angle, and the metal is cracked at both ends. This is not a “damaged in shipping” issue. This is a quality & packing problem. There was no packing material placed between wood and the lightweight cardboard box. There was, also, no packing material around the supporting crossbeams. There is a hollow space inside box, where packing material should have been. Honestly, it is the worst packing job I have ever seen in my life. In addition, the 74" side to one box, was so inadequately taped, that was delivered completely open on that side. I have yet to open the two remaining boxes. Why should I make the effort? The quality and condition of the gazebo parts that I’ve viewed thus far, are unsatisfactory, unsuitable, and completely unacceptable. I am not comfortable getting replacement pieces sent out, as I have seen enough to know that quality issues exist for this item. I realize that there are some positive reviews, in the past, for this item. Perhaps, cheaper materials have recently been substituted, due to the recently large increase in lumber prices. As a very reasonable person, I know others would completely agree with my review if they were to see the product that was sent to me. All I know is, BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

Beautiful gazebo design! Things I’d share. It’s worth paying someone to assemble. There are brackets to secure it to cement. The description is inaccurate about “solid wood” instead it’s hollow and it did crack during installation. I’m also unsure about the need to stain this product - as is doesn’t seem like it will hold up long.

This was a leap of faith in getting such a large pavilion online and delivered through mail - but we are so happy we did! This gazebo is built to last, and exactly what we needed. We've tried many light-weight options with cloth, but decided on something much stronger. This gazebo is a combination of timber and metal, and constructed to be stable. We've had it almost a year and it's held up very well.

Great product for the Money, Looks Great. Pros. Looks Great, strong for the design, Fits and finishes are good, All necessary hardware is included, easy instructions on how to assemble. Cons. This is not solid wood, Main post are hollow and can easily break if drop of hit, Boards can easily crack when driving in the screws so drill a pilot hole first, Roof metal is too thin and can be damage during installation. overall this is a great product for the money, if you can afford to have someone build this for you it will save you a lot of time.
