Bright and very well made as the umbrella fabric is quite durable. This is our second...the first one lasted about 5 years, faded some... but a gust of heavy winds took it out. It makes us smile!

This umbrella has a great look. It's not fabric, but rather a rubbery material that is quite stiff - particularly when it is a bit cool out. Warm temperatures soften it a bit - and has to be straightened out to close it. But it still does not close all the way. There is no air vent, so I suggest a good heavy base to hold it against the wind. The 6' size is not easy to find, so that was a real plus for me. Also, it does not have a crank to raise/lower, so unless you're tall, opening it and closing it will not be easy.
