Our included joiner clips are great for connecting multiple purchased panels and partitioning off a larger area. Space between slats provides efficient airflow and included spacers help with the perfect placement of slats. The real wood, water-based stain panel design gives this privacy screen a stylish look in any yard. We recommend applying a stain every 6 months to maintain optimal colour. Transparent or semi-transparent exterior stains will maintain the natural wood look, while solid stains will cover more of the natural wood grain. If the product goes longer than recommended without staining, it will need to be sanded and may require a semi-solid or solid stain. Our powder-coated aluminum posts prevent rusting and provide stability to your screen. This screen is no-dig and very easy to install without tearing up your yard or leaving large holes behind.

Installation was very easy, instructions are accurate. The wood is high quality but I suggest wearing gloves as the stain is very pungent when first opening the box. I had to dig a hole for the posts first as our ground is full of rocks. The metal posts are fragile and will bend and twist if your ground is not soft and has no rocks. Once installed, it is very stable and feels firmly in place. The strong smell went away after a couple hours outside. I’m purchasing a second one to extend it! Love this privacy fence!!. Tissa. Each board has a solid 3/4" edge making them perfect for slat fencing with 1/2" openings between the slat boards. We also offer tongue and groove for solid fencing. Our boards are specifically designed to be used on the OUTDECO Horizontal Slat Fence Kit, item number ODSL6. The Horizontal Fence Kit comes with a centre strap which is required to keep all boards aligned. We also provide in-ground 96" posts (ODP96), above ground 52" posts, (ODP55) and above ground 75" posts (ODP75). Posts, Horizontal Slat Fence Kit, and the Slat boards are all you need to complete the installation.

I bought these to help reduce the wind that we get on our deck. We have them attached to the railings. Last year we had to chase our furniture a few times during our wind storms but not this year. They worked very well as a wind break. They definitely had to be secured well to keep them in place. They look very nice and add to the look of our deck instead of taking away.
