This is great for the bbq area to provide both light and shelter from rain. Works great.

I am very pleased with this purchase and super excited about using it this summer. It’s sturdy but the umbrella does move a bit when there’s wind. The only thing missing is the umbrella cover.

Want to love it but have been mostly disappointed. The umbrella is very heavy, too heavy for the hinge mechanism, is it’s always wobbling and rocking in even a slight breeze.

Great sturdy parasol. Easy to assemble, the longest part was filling the base with sand and water (approx and hour). We went for the navy blue because it was more cost effective and it’s actually a lovely colour. It holds up well to wind gusts when erect, and positioning the top is easy. The lights are bright enough for a cosy evening sitting out but not blinding (especially if it’s tiled like in the photos, any brighter would have left an imprint at the back of my retinas!) We had a storm with 80mph gusts and large hail stones, to prepare for this I removed the solar panel at the top and strapped the parasol closed. Next day it was absolutely fine. Fantastic value for money, easy to use and very effective at blocking out the sun with ease of movement and the various height and tilt options. I wouldn’t say I’m particularly strong, so it was a relief to be able to manage operating this parasol without having to call for help. Definitely worth the money, and if you are on the fence about the navy blue, I’d say go for it, at $200 cheaper than some of the other colours, you won’t be disappointed.
