I liked it but----it looked too large for the space

It is good, but the design has a flaw. The lid should be set forward so that the baox can be wall mounted without using spacers. I replaced a mailbox of a very similar design, but much smaller, that had the lid set forward about a half inch to allow flush wall mounting.

Good size and basic design but two flaws. The lid should have some kind of handle to make it easy for the Postman to lift. Now they have to push up the the edge, awkward and difficult. Bigger issue is the placement of the mounting holes. The top holes are above the level of the inside hinge mechanism. This makes it very difficult the screw in the screws. They should be lower so that they can be directly accessed through the door.
