This paddle is perfect to travel with. It easily breaks down and is really sturdy in the water.

I bought a 3 piece hybrid fiber paddle from an online vendor. I was excited to get it and thought it would be lighter than my current cheap aluminum one. Was I wrong. These paddles do not weigh 1.8 pounds but closer to 2.2 lbs. Also, where it connects it is loose and has play. I'll be sending it back hoping to get my money refunded. I did have another Rave Sport carbon fiber paddle that was great. This one is a disappointment.
