We were hoping to be able to use this covertable without having to take it off of the tank but that’s not possible. My husband drilled a hole in the top and now it’s more functional. Basic design flaw in my opinion, I don’t want to remove a 50lb cement cover from the gas tank every time I want to use our fire pit. I cover the hole with a plant, which is easy to move.
