I have finally beaten the squirrels! This pole is long enough and slippery enough to defy the little varmints. If you are shorter than 6', order a step stool with a high back from Wayfair so you can take down and fill your feeders. I have spent a fortune on "squirrel proof" feeders, and this pole makes any vertical feeder work.

Good strong steel and well fabricated. The sections screw together allowing easy install of a squirrel baffle. Easy install and easy to plumb vertical with the four prongs. Seems pretty stable. Best quality of the many poles for bird feeders that I have purchased over the years.

Went together quick and solid.

One of the barrel threads was painted over so that caused a cross thread. Way too much money for flimsy Chinese material. Bought an American made one for half the price

Easy to assemble sturdier than expected! Seemed a bit wobbly at first, but was just fine when balanced with hanging flower baskets on both hooks. Exactly what I was looking for!
