Update : Fast forward two months and it’s completely white and the bowl is peeling. Because this damage didn’t happen the first 30 days wayfair will do nothing but offer me $24for my troubles which means I throw $100 in the garbage- bc peeling plastic isn’t good for wildlife. The color has completely faded on entire bath. So unless you’re using this in a covered and shaded area, avoid. ***** This started out great. As others mentioned, from afar the “faux” look is fine. Up close, it’s oh so faux. I love that it’s lightweight and easy to clean. I purchased it to replace a heavy concrete one that was sure to be the end of my back if I monkeyed with it much longer. Sadly, after one week outside the center faded to white where water was. Within two weeks the area above water line joined in on the fading, and now the entire top is a totally different shade. Still from afar, not horrible, but for the price I’m disappointed.

Although I just received this birdbath I was very pleased with look and quality. I know some have said it faded Terrocata I will leave that Alan’s see what happens

Love this birdbath! Looks like red clay but light enough to move around. Suggestion: fill the base with pebbles to keep it stable.

My birdbath is one of my favorite things in my backyard. I filled mine up with sand and it is very sturdy. The color completely faded from the sun, but I just painted it with terra-cotta paint and wiped it off right away with a rag to give it a worn look and it came right back to life. I also use a solar fountain in it, which works perfectly. I love it and the birds love it too!
