The bench arrived quickly, and the packaging was undamaged. Pieces of wood were wrapped securely when the box was opened. It took less than a half hour to put together. Stand back and admire. The wood is absolutely gorgeous. I thought it was going to be a lighter grain. However, not disappointed at all. This is actually a darker grain and my preference for wood. The bench is solid, sturdy, heavy, and level. We live in the Northeast, and our ground is still muddy from winter thaw and April showers. We will wait till the ground dries up before placing the bench outside. Have to say this bench exceeded mine and my husbands expectations. The quality is excellent and I'm looking forward to enjoying this bench for many years to come.

I’m pleasantly surprised with how sturdy this bench is. It doesn’t blow over in strong wind and it sits nice and evenly on the ground. The finish seems like it will hold up well in the weather. I put the bench in an area with a good amount of shade so that should help it stay nice for a long time. As far as packing and assembly goes.. It’s packed well and arrived without any damage (even though the box was beat up pretty bad .. thanks to fedex). It’s super easy to put together! I was expecting to have to put all the little slats together but it’s mostly assembled and I only had to put the arm pieces on and screw the back piece on. I was able to do it all alone without any problem. The instructions say you need a rubber mallet (obviously not included) but I’m not entirely sure why. I don’t think that’s mandatory. The long bolts go in with an Allen wrench that’s included but you will need a screwdriver for the screws that hold the back piece on. Overall the bench is nicer than expected and I would definitely recommend this to anyone that needs a larger seating area and something with a modern look.

This bench is stunning! The size is great for 2-3 people. The assembly is easy but you may need 2 people to do it. Great quality as well. It will fit nice in a garden or by a fire pit. The bench sits nice, but adding some pillows would make it even more comfortable.
