With the prolonged winter in the mid-Atlantic, it finally got warm enough to install this. This is an extremely well-made and equipped sail. The material looks really good, and it is substantial, fairly heavy grade. The material is porous, so don't look for this to resist rain. All the hardware is provided. You don't have to go to the hardware store for anything. The ratcheting winches were easy to install and they do the job. The mounting rings on the sail and the edge wire reinforcements are solid and look like they will hold up under the stress of wind that the sail will undoubtedly need to endure. We love this so far!

This is definitely not a solo job. It took us approximately four hours to install it. The kit came in handy all you need are the posts, a ladder and one or two people to help you. It was labor intensive but so worth it in the end. The tan color provides great shade while allowing brightness to come thru.

This sun shade seems to be very good quality, I like that it’s light in color so it’ll stay cooler underneath compared to the other black one I also got. I plan to use both so I’m assuming one side will stay cooler than the other

ThIs shade sail is made very well.  There is a wire cord that runs the perimeter of the sail with loops at each corner.  The corners have metal reinforcement to strengthen the integrity of the corner.  There are rachets in the hardware to tighten the corner connections.  This yellow tan color is bright and allows light in while screening harmful rays.  This is a 20 x 16 sail.  It is too large for our area which is why it droops.  It will need to be moved to a more open space.  I recommend ordering a slightly smaller sail than your area and using the rachet to hang tight.
