Springfield 77.5" H In-Ground Decorative Post

The post itself is attractive, but the included hardware was defective and the person from Handy had to go buy some that don’t match and are an eyesore. (See bottom of post in photo.)

This post is perfect. I had 2 wooden ones in past that were condos for carpenter ants! Beautiful smooth cast aluminum post in antique copper powder coat that looks just like wood. Beautiful craftsmanship and finish. Like the rougher finish on the ball finial for visual and textural contrast. Easy to assemble, and used the new concrete expanding foam in the hole which is amazing! Love it, and my next door neighbor loves it so much she is ordering one too! Last mailbox post I’ll ever need! Nice job Springfield.

Looks awesome and more expensive than it was

I really like this post purchased to go with a Special Lite Savannah mailbox...HOWEVER, it wasn't until we dug the post hole, leveled, and CEMENTED in the post that we discovered the arm to the post had two holes that did not line up with the post!!! We're in our 60s and were not about to dig it up! After some real headaches, my husband figured out a way to drill another hole to make it work. Wayfair was reasonable enough to give us a discount for our trouble. If you buy, check to make sure post and arm holes line up BEFORE posting in the ground!!!
