This thing looks really cool when lit, construction seems to be good quality, and although some of the instructions are written poorly it was easy to put together. My rating is a 2 because it really does not heat very well….and I bought it for heat not looks. I live in Seattle and have tried it twice so for with temps about 50 degrees and no wind. You have to be sitting or standing right next to it to notice any heat. On my upper deck I have 2 cheaper (200ea) standard patio heaters by Fire Sense that kick out 4x the heat. The Fire Sense units, also 46k btu, create enough heat that if you’re right next to them they are way too hot and you need to turn the heat to lower setting. With this one you must have it on high to feel much of anything. Disappointed in this purchase for what I am looking for…warmth. If u want something that looks cool this is your unit. If you need some heat go with the cheaper Fire Sense units.

Works great! Took a little time but otherwise easy to put together. Worth the price.

Mu husband assembled it and it look a while. Looks nice but we have not tried it yet.
