Love my pergola. I've had it now five years. Had to hire a handyman and crew to assemble for me. But worth it. And over the years made my own modifications. Adding tile to the bar, added an extra cover for shade, painted it grey, and all the other fun stuff ie curtain, lights, panel decor.

This is a great pergola. We’ve had it for a few years and it has stood the test of time. We love the arched style and the shade is great for those hot sunny days, especially since our backyard gets full sun for most the day.

I’ve had this pergola for a couple years. It is beautiful and sturdy and very big which is kind of too big for my backyard but that’s OK. It’s so beautiful. When I took this picture, I haven’t added all the parts to it so take that in mind.

I'll just summarize my experience with the Bellucci 14x10 ft pergola with canopy purchase. 1. Good price - likely an end-of-season sale or similar, but the price was substantially lower than elsewhere 2. being able to schedule delivery was a definite bonus 3. On time delivery and no damage to the packages. 4. No parts were missing and spare nuts and bolts of each size were provided which surprisingly doesn't seem to be the standard any more. 5. Installation instructions were clear. I put the pergola together with my wife (both of us are just a tad bit younger than 70 years). I must add, that we didn't rush the installation (had no reason to) so it took us about 3 days of casual work. Neither of us had to strain himself/herself. 6. Basic tools for the installation were part of the package, however, I'd expect anyone who embarks on a similar adventure to self-assemble a large pergola to have all the right pro tools including power tools. Notes: one small thing - the holes for mounting the countertop and shelf are pre-drilled on only one set of the supporting components so you should study the diagram carefully and position the pergola according to which side you'd want to install the counter and the shelf. Although I suppose it is possible to follow the same hole pattern and drill them on the other side as well in case of need. In general, most pre-drilled holes in my kit lined up properly. Where it became necessary (on few occasion), I simply drilled a new hole carefully. I read in one earlier comment that the installer experienced the wood splitting as he (she?) drove screws in. I'm not sure how this happened since the person didn't elaborate. But one has to keep in mind that this particular pergola is made of cedar (as stated in the item description), which is soft and light weight wood, so it should be handled accordingly. Drilling pilot holes in case of need, and not over tightening screws will in most cases help prevent splitting. In closing, I had a very pleasant experience with this purchase and the overall outcome of the results.

Its wonderful! Put it together in two days, with just two people. Provides plenty of shade. Just unfortunate that the price dropped 700 after we made our purchase.
