Sunny Yard Polyester Replacement Canopy for Pergola

I paid $80.10 for this with a 10% off promotion. Still a bit pricey for this since it is thin and has no weep holes for water to drain. My original canopy which was canvas with a plastic backing lasted 13 years. I doubt this one will last half that. My pergola has 1 stationery rod and 4 retractable rods and the rods go through the canopy slots and snap into rods in the middle. The distance beween the the tracks is 96" so I ordered the 96.5" wide canopy. My old canopy had a space in the middle of the slots to accomadate the middle rods that the canopy rods sapped into. I noticed this one also has a space in the middle but unfortunaely it was smaller than my old canopy and I had to hacksaw off ~1 1/2" of one side of the miidle rods to get it to fit. It worked but this is not universal. If you have a canopy like my old one check the size of the space needed in the middle before ordering this. You can see from my pics that the canopy also looks bunched.

It fit perfectly and it was easy to unpack and install. It takes two people to install but it was really very simple so don't talk yourself out of doing it yourself. You can do it. Just get careful measurements.

I installed my pergola over 10 years ago and have purchased replacement canopies a few times because living in the desert takes a toll on fabric. This most recent canopy was a great price and I am confident I will get at least two years out of it. It fit perfectly and the color is great!

It’s difficult to find the right dimensions, fabric quality and other details such as drainage holes and handle to slide the shade. BUT this replacement canopy fits my pergola okay. We had to leave out one pole. No big deal. Length is better than prior replacement. No handle but we are tall and can maneuver it. The fabric is very thick and should last.

5 bar slips for those with 6 - you can make it work. Will see how it does in the elements. Thinner fabric then my other umbrellas
