I use these for my outdoor curtains and they've been excellent vs the smaller bean/sand bags the curtain company sold me which were too light for TX spring winds. Over time.. about a year.. the velcro has been jostled open by the wind and I've lost some sand.. but not a big deal. Planning to refill them soon. Could also put pea-gravel or other small stones inside for extra weight.
