These are heavy duty mounts. They swivel nice and quiet. The heavy duty springs make for a comfortable ride. New construction on my install so I blocked for a swing in the ceiling during construction. The lag bolts are 1/2 inch. If going into a 2x4 I would make sure it was centered.

Very nice! Came with everything needed to hang my new swinging bench. I did, however, go with bolt/nut rather than carriage bolt included as I can tighten if needed. The springs do make it more comfortable with slight give when seating. This has made my swing the new favorite place for morning coffee and evening unwind.

Got these Porch Swing Hangers for a Polywood swing. Both the swing and the hangers are high-quality and relatively easy to put together. The hangers are heavy duty, leaving no worries about supporting the swing, which is quite heavy (sturdy). We would definitely recommend both of these products.
