The product arrived in an undamaged box; however, the table was broken at the joints/hinges when we removed it from the box. We had to drill new holes and add a new spacing piece to make the table functional.

Given the price and flexible design this table is a keeper. I have to say that the finish is somewhat like paint but I took care of that right away by sanding off any burrs and adding a few coats of oil finish. It was worth the time to do it, at least for me.
