Not metal. Received item but it is plastic/pvc material.

we bought these to enclose a front yard area. i love the starburst pattern! these provide the perfect amount of privacy while letting us still peek out through the panels. they arrive in a silver steel color and we let ours rust from the elements because that final orange-y color was what we were going for in the end with our project. they turned orange pretty quickly but will leave an orange mark if you leave them against something light colored while they go through the process (steel silver to orange rust). we bought a couple more panels when our project idea changed and they came quickly and well packaged. there is a vinyl product like this for sale in white and black (i think?) from wayfair but we are in the sub-tropical desert in arizona (outside phoenix) and needed something that could stand up to the dry heat, blistering summer sun and the sub-tropical moisture. we had an extra panel left over so we turned it vertically and installed it on the other side of the house to conceal the trash cans. love these panels, highly recommend!

Love these screens! Perfect patina!

These are terrific panels with a distinct look. Since we live near the ocean, they rusted quickly as described. We removed old lattice from the support posts and rails, and installed these with rough cedar boards in the shadow box style. The plants below will fill up the 2 1/2 feet below the boards. We have received a multitude of compliments; it creates privacy and yet gives an open appearance.
