First a note on materials: The fabric IS NOT CANVAS but Oxford fabric. This is not meant as a complaint. The two are very comparable, but if you are set on canvas you should be aware of the substitution. Other than that I am very favorably impressed Setup was straightforward and easy for one person. It holds its shape without sagging after several days. Ventilation with the internal vents open is more than adequate. It has stood up to two days of stormy weather admirably; there have been no issues with it standing up to the wind. As the later pictures show it is dry inside. The last photo shows water beaded up on the outside of the tent. The interior is roomy, and I am able to walk around comfortably. There's sufficient space to sleep several people and their gear or to use it in a less common way. It is currently doing service as a blacksmithy. There is still enough ventilation. There is enough room that the forge is in no danger of melting or burning anything. The fact that the floor can be unzipped means I can stay dry and not have to worry about dropping hot metal on fabric. The price is very reasonable for what I received, and Wayfair's customer service has been exemplary. The only complaint I have is that the raincap for the door does not have a big enough hole to fit over the door support. Fixing that took a couple seconds with a drill, but it is an imperfection in the manufacture.

Great tent….the tent was strong and sturdy and yes it is waterproof!!! Not sure you can put 8-people in it comfortably unless sleep on the floor. 5 camp cots will be tight enough. Still, we love the tent and warm enough to have a small wood stove.

I love this tent! I went camping last weekend and it got really cold at night, about 32°F. The tent kept the wind out and the stove I bought worked really well. We were able to throw some wood on and sleep warm and cozy through the night. The setup was easy, but there were five of us working together. The tear down was pretty easy too, but I wasn’t able to fit everything back in the bag.
