128' X 104' Rectangular Cantilever Umbrella with Weighted Base

This item has a defect. LIke previous reviewers the crank shaft handle becomes loose and subsequent crankings cause the plastic housing to crack and soon after the entire crank mechanism and handle become detached. Then you have a giant umbrella stuck in position, making it useless. I wish there was a way to contact the company and resolve or get a replacement for that part so I don't have to throw this entire thing in a landfill but Wayfair does not seem to provide any contact info or remedy. Buyer beware, this is not a good product unfortunately.

I have had this item for two months. Yesterday I noticed that the crank housing is cracked so that you can see the crank mechanism. When you turn the handle you can see the crank moves into opening created by the crank. I would be careful purchasing this item other than that it works well.

This umbrella holder was precisely what I required, and it will fetch a favorable price due to the fact that I was hosting a birthday party and needed this holder to provide shade for the umbrella itself. I already possessed the umbrella, so we only needed the freestanding base. We filled it with water and a small amount of sand, and it has proven to be quite sturdy.
