It is a rubber stone, which I didn't catch when reading. However, for my needs, it will work just fine. Looks like the picture and I love it

The stepping stones are just perfect in my back yard. I was pleased with the quality and how it will not be slippery if wet. I have one in the English ivy for reaching the bird feeder. The other on the muddy spot at the composter.

I wish these came in a set of three. I placed this one on the middle of the dragon flies and bee stepping stones in my newly created pathway and flower bed. Pretty good weight, on the small side, and made of recycled rubber. I am happy.
