Wow, what an elegant piece…this mailbox offers an elegant retro look. It is made of aluminum and steel with a lightweight and rustproof. At 62.6 inches, (examine height of post shown in pics) it is rather short for an in use mailbox. It would definitely need to be built up on a platform to be of adequate usage. The lock and keys provide an extra layer of protection for your USPS mail. This unit can be used as a decorative piece!

Beautiful decorative mailbox however, it is not practical for a real mailbox as it has a small slit for mail and in this day and age you receive more than letters. I used it for decorative purposes and I love it.

I'm really going to enjoy this mailbox . It's my second one. The first one I bought was just white and I paited it to match my front door . So I got this one because we plan on moving soon and this color will be perfect. These mailboxes are great all you have to do is put a small keyed lock on the back door and your mail is save .the postman puts it in a pretty good size slot and you get it out the back door . But I highly recommend putting on a lock. And it keeps your mail very dry if it rains and it holds alot.
