First time sand filter owner. It was a lot larger than I expected. Took me a few hours to put together. Easy to operate ,real quiet ,works really well. I love it

Much larger than I thought it would be. The instructions were not as easy though. I can read but would rather have illustrations to follow as well.

Wonderful unit and very powerful!

Seems to be nice you, have to fly by the seat of your pants for assembly because the instructions are non existent. It takes a 110lbs of pool sand that obviously is not included. It’s advised as a 16” filter but you get a 17” according to the box. It works well it’s an extreme challenge trying to get correct fittings not included. The filter has 2” fittings and the pump has 1.5” fittings. It comes with adapters for the pump only. The hoses supplied are 2” fittings. Has a built in timer in 2 hr increments. Would rather use a clocked timer. Update I have had this over a year. I had issues several times of an internal fuse popping every time the unit gets wet. I contacted extreme power us but was unable to get any data on the proper spec. I repair things for living I was able to test the load and install a proper fuse. I have since build a cover for it and since I have done that it hasn’t blown a fuse. Buyer beware the support from wayfair and xtremepowerus stinks.

Works perfectly! Timer function is easy to use. Much better than the pumpfilter that came with the pool. Pump is nice and quiet. So far so good!

Broken lid on pump but Wayfair credited me for the damage so I could order one from the supplier.

So far seems ok except for leaking water around collar valve of filter. I have reached out to see if I can tighten the bolts more. Also, the Wayfair product info says just add 110lbs of filter media, which I did. Except now I see on the manual in to add 42lbs so now I’m not sure what to do. This was very complicated to put together with no real instructions, only pics. We had to watch videos online for assistance to put this together.

Great price. Great product. This cleared my pool up easily. Love my new filter/pump combo!
