Strong sturdy pump. Works very good. Glad I purchased

Takes some patience time and skill to put together and following the directions very carefully. But after a few curse words my husband finally got it put together and it is working great so far! Just be sure to follow the directions about backwashing it before plugging it in and running it so that it doesn't ruin the pump before you even get started. I love that balls that come with it in the place of sand and we've read that they actually work better then sand so we're excited to try these out!

Will not be set in the pump up until I open my pool Goal today but the pump looks like just wanted right now I give it five stars but will not know how it works until I actually set it up with the pool

Update so I got the filter up and running. It took so many YouTube videos and seeing instructions for other San filters to figure it out. Some tips use the pipe tape on EVERY screw type connection, make sure your drain connection is super tight with water before you add your sand, the ports on top have very hidden labels telling you which hookup is for what, it says it’s not for pools that you “store” (oops, I’m not sure if that’s true though. It’s the same capacity as the ones for intex above ground pools, so I don’t know why they have this disclaimer), always unplug it before you change which setting it’s on. It’s working well so far but I’m a little unclear on how muchoften I need to clear it out or backwash or whatever the other settings are. Still 4 stars because the instructions did NOT help much. Soooo I haven’t been able to attach this to my pool yet. The instructions on this are garbage. It feels like the labels on screws and such are not great and then it also feels like it’s missing steps. Not very clear at all. Hopefully it functions better than the setup was . It does seem good quality and sturdy. Hopefully it will work out!
