I am using it even though it doesnt close. It is doing a good job pruning my plants really good.

Now, I can prune my roses which I did this afternoon after receiving my pruning shears this morning. I also was able to prune two other plants that desperately needed pruning. This pruner works very well.

Cuts well, the clasp to close the shears requires some finesse.

The flex of the plastic grip concerns me, but most of the cutting we do will not stress the plastic.
