This chair is very comfortable and a delight. Assembly really requires prior experience with schematics and understanding basic aspects of hardware. However, as the pics show, the upper/seat section is out of alignment with the lower/base portion; it's pushed to one side. That results in the upper frame knocking against the rear black glide "dog bone" part. I don't understand what would cause this skewing. I kept all fasteners not-tight until everything was assembled. Fortunately the knocking only occurs if I glide far enough forward, which is actually beyond my typical glide length. But I have to take a star away because of this.. Bart. Boulder, CO. Great quality for the price of this set. Cushioning is fine out of the box and sits comfortably. Order Arrives in 3 boxes. Assembly is time consuming. The set comes with a very handy ratchet to tighten the bolts. This was perfect for hard to reach connections. I used a tool from my own ratchet set to hold the nuts in place instead of using the wrench provided, much easier! The instructions for assembly are inadequate. Details for Attaching the glider mechanism would be helpful for anyone who has never assembled glider chairs before. There is also no instructions about attaching the cushion to the ottoman. I contacted the manufacturer and they responded quickly to my questions, so quick customer service support. Another thing to note is the glass piece on the table was not secured on arrival as stated in the instructions. After table is assembled completely, the glass seems stable. The chair back flexes a bit when sitting in the chair and one of the screws is too long (can scratch the chair back when sitting in it) so we had to cut the screw short but overall good quality for the price.. Love this chair. It’s a bit pricey but I wanted to try one to check quality and construction once put together. We were pleasantly impressed by the solid wood teak. It is a really well built chair, very stout & heavy. Just what I wanted to start our slow collection of this same style. It’s a modern scandi-style but feels like you’ve owned it for a long time. The clean & simple lines will blend in nicely with our back patio bird bath & flower garden. We got the lighter cushions as the gray wasn’t available, but they look nice & are firm to keep from turning mushy when you sit. Plus the cushions keep the seating a little higher then many other styles you kind of fall into when you sit. I have issues with getting out of low slung chairs, & no one wants to feel like they are sitting on1/2 cushion to be high enough to get out easily. Over all I recommend this to anyone that is willing to slowly build up your patio collection with quality seating. We’re already looking for our next chair to purchase in a few months.. Dawn.
