Enjoy beautiful backyard or cabin views at any angle around this steel, wood-burning, 360-degree view black chiminea fire pit. This outdoor fire pit chiminea is a great addition to any patio or backyard in need of some warmth for gatherings on a cool evening, for friendly get-togethers, and for long summer nights. Constructed of durable steel, the outdoor chimenea features a metal mesh enclosure around the fire to contain stray embers and sparks. The chiminea's tall flue helps move smoke and soot up and away from the body of the chiminea. The steel construction also ensures durability and strength against the outdoor elements. This fire pit includes a log grate to promote optimal air flow for a better burning fire that is sure to last all night long. This fire pit also includes a poker to stir the logs and coals to keep the fire going without having to worry about burning hands.
Ok, so :) As pictured this looks really nice and was exactly what we were looking for as far as a unique looking style in a chiminea. So, when the chiminea arrived, something was strange, it showed up in a stock labeled box from SunnyDaze. This is listed as a Fairburn (assuming a model type) from at least what the add says, a company called Williston Forge. So thinking the wrong product was sent, would not accept delivery at first until it could be confirmed what was inside was supposed to be what was ordered. Well, come to find out, it was what was ordered, but rebranded by Wayfair under a different name and company... So kind of confusing, but whatever, it would have been nice to know that at first so there was no confusion when it was delivered to avoid that hassle with the driver.... Upon opening the box,, sadly the packaging was less then what should be acceptable. Some of the foam packaging was just crushed and scattered thorough the box, and a box with parts within the box was crushed and the parts were just kind of scattered... All the parts were there so that was a plus. The unit itself was in good shape, except for a few dings, dents and a couple places where the welds were just open and split a few inches in length, just looks shoddy but did not interfere with operation. The only other goofy thing was the tabs that hold the middle and upper base together, they work and after finagling a little bit did tighten and fasten the pieces together, but very mis-shaped and a bit confusing at first because they were skipped as a part and description in the single page manual for putting together.... The doors are nice but were incredibly bent and had to be carefully re-bent to line up together, open and close properly without breaking the welds, which worked thankfully because they did not shut or line up well at all. Inside the unit where the tray is to catch the ash, unsure why the handle is so big, it created problems with the grate to fit properly so had to be bent in/down toward the bottom so the grate would fit properly, not an issue, but.... The over-all stability once put together seems good, though keep in mind, it is light and will defiantly blow over in moderate winds unless secured to the ground. The cover that comes with it, is actually awesome, fits perfectly, and looks great... Very hard to give 5 stars because of the minor issues but well deserved of a 4 star rating...... Easy to clean and love the wide entrance doors... We have used this a few times now, looks great still and hopefully will last a while....... Anonymous. Sat May 21 2022
