These are awesome! Easy to put together and look great. Very good materials. I added rebar stakes on the inside and cemented the rebar and th bottom 4 inches of the cage in the ground for extra support as these are tall and narrow. I bought three, two of which stand side by side and the third one I modified to lay on its side over lapping the other two by a foot and out in front by 6 inches. Grassova Fence is a chainlink fence covered with artificial grass. I’ve added a lot of my before and after pictures here so you can see what I covered up and how I did it. I’m 52 and did this all by myself and I’m so happy with it! I first build a frame out of 2x4s since the fence I was covering was not plumb, or consistent in height anywhere. I used the existing fence posts to attach the new frame to so the frame is strong and I made sure it was plumb. Then I attached landscape fabric to the entire frame with a staple gun so that the light from the other side would not show through (I didn’t want it to look weird in the places the existing fence is shorter.). Then I attached screws sticking out about an inch, every 6-8 inches or so horizontally across the top of the frame. I used these screws to ‘hang’ the new green stuff up on. I didn’t ever screw those screws in tight - they act like hooks and let me reposition the green stuff properly. The culms of this bamboo are used extensively in Japanese woodworking and are excellent for indoor and outdoor decoration. Our Timor black timber bamboo poles come in an average of 2-3 inches in diameter. They are made up of a thick wall of heavy bamboo and are crack-resistant. Colour and actual diameter will vary due to the natural material. We cannot guarantee a specific diameter of each pole, only that they will be between the diameter of 2-3 inches. Bamboo poles may also have different diameters at either end, this is due to the way bamboo grows.
