These are wonderful! The old shutters and door color are the faded, archaic Burgundy. The update is using the black shutters. I didn’t want to pay an enormous amount of money to refresh the front of the house and did not want to paint the whole thing so we painted the door and replaced the shutters using this black shutter. These are 18”x50”. I am so happy with how they look. They were easy to install other than the masonry drilling taking a little longer time than normal drilling and managing to get behind that giant bush on the right. You will need a masonry drill bit if you have a brick or stucco house. They look SO much better and serve their purpose of being aesthetically pleasing. They are such an improvement for the cost! Still painting…waiting for paint coats to dry and not be sticky either. Only concern is the shutters are not as sturdy as I expected (why the 4 stars) and hoping during installation they will not be damaged.
