Very cheaply made. It's not wood nor is it marble, it is a cast of plaster and fiberbond. The paint job was poor and you could tell it was fake, not to mention the poor craftsmanship. The wood section wast not completely painted brown to the edge. Not worth the price. Its also small and has almost no area to set drinks. I received my delivery on Wednesday and was placed in a wonderful spot. As it was raining, they left it under my balcony in the back of my home, rather than my front steps. I also appreciated the notification and the textspic. We opened the fire pit on Saturday, and absolutely LOVE it! We are SO happy with it and think it was SO worth spending a little extra for the style and size. There were absolutely no defects that we could see, and we cant wait to sit and enjoy it. (Only wish our furniture wasnt delayed. lol) Would HIGHLY recommend this fire pit and Wayfair delivery. Will submit a photo when we use it. Only wish...wish it came with a lid for the fire pit itself so that it could also serve as a table when not being used for a fire. But we will make one ourselves. I've owned the Geneva 72" Rectangle Concrete Propane Fire Pit Table by Jenson Co for several days now and I have to say, "I'm very impressed". And don't let the propane tank aspect keep you from purchasing this unit, as natural gas conversion kits are available. However, running this firepit from a standard 20-pound propane tank works incredibly well (supplies a great amount of heat) and will easily run for 10 to 15 hours on a single (full) propane tank. Keep in mind, when having this unit delivered to your home (we selected "Backyard Drop-off") did have some issues. The first delivery team claimed it was too heavy to move into the backyard. The second team (a couple of real men) had absolutely no issue getting the unit delivered to our backyard (simply tipped the crate on its side and placed mover's rollers underneath). Keep in mind though, by selecting "Backyard Drop-Off", the delivery team is not responsible for unpacking your firepit. Thankfully, we offered the delivery team a few extra dollars to unpack it and set the firepit in the desired location...and boy oh boy, I'm sure glad we did. The firepit is packaged using wood pallets, cardboard and other material and took a ton of effort to unpack. At any rate, this firepit rivals any firepit at most luxury resorts! We purchased the 56" Outdoor Sandstone Fire Pit on the Memorial Day sales and have been thrilled with our purchase. It arrived and was delivered to our entryway. The delivery team provided us great instructions in unpacking and it was a breeze! The large heavy fire pit arrived in great condition.
