However, if you do not check it and materials continue to be inserted into the unit, eventually, people are able to reach in and take materials back out of the unit. I got this for package drop box because of dogs constantly harassing our mail carrier and UPSfedEx drivers! I put this box half way down our driveway where our dogs do not have access to.
