This piece includes an internal pump with flow rate control. It plugs in with ease and requires a 120V power source.

Love this fountain! Could use better instructions so I’m adding a few tips about installation 1. Only one cord comes out of the bottom (drawing showed 2) 2. Warm plastic tube w a hair dryer to soften it for insertion 3. There is a (mostly) round plastic cap that should be placed over the reservoir tube (once you’ve snaked the power cord thru) to protect the plug from water. 4. Would recommend putting fountain together indoors. It’s tricky. Also, it weighs 40 pounds without water, so don’t add water til you get it outside and are ready to go. 5. I used clear postal tape to strap the top to the reservoir to keep it secure while moving it out of the house. 6. The cord is about 6’ long but runs the length of the base, leaving 3-4’. Plan accordingly. I placed my unit in front of a window so I could snake the cord under the window and plug it in inside (used an extension cord). 7. I added 2 copper disks to reduce algae build-up.. The sound and lighting are pleasant and the water doesn’t splash anywhere. Even in hot, dry places, I’ve not had to fill it with water very often. The color is great. It’s light weight so I put it on a cheap, $12 stand I got from Marshall’s. The light and sounds create a peaceful vibe at night. Due to the reflection of water and sunlight, there may be a slight difference in colour between the picture and the actual items you will get. Because of the photo effect, the fountain in the picture may look bigger than the real fountain you will get. Please re-sure the size before placing the order. This is not a real rock fountain, it is made from resin. It is as durable as a rock and but lighter and more portable than rock.

I packed it up because waiting for the part would take longer than just swapping the unit. The second unit arrives with no light. I am sure you can imagine my disappointment. I ordered on May 26th and still can't assemble. I have no idea when the light will arrive. 5 stars on beauty of the fountain 1 star based on the headache and lack of quality control makes this not so cheap purchase and overall 3.
