This is my fourth purchase of the same item. I use it to surround my covered patio when I don’t want the sun coming in. The light color let the light come in. This fourth one was much easier to install than the first three. The only reason I had to buy a fourth was because a tree limb came down on one of the older ones. They hold up very well to winds. This beautiful and realistic-looking expandable hedge completely changed the view from my kitchen window! I am so happy that I am buying a second one for my upstairs balcony. For a larger area, this is so much easier than buying small squares separately and attaching them all. That being said, you do need something to attach the zip ties (which are included) around the bamboo backing to hold this up. If you aren't attaching to a railing with supports, and you're attaching to wood, you could use hand screw-in eyes or even open cup hooks to support this. This took me all of 5 minutes, and it felt secure with only 4 zip ties, but I ended up using a few more because they include 10. For my large area, I needed to expand it all the way out, so if you don't need to go this wide, it will look even fuller. This is heavy-duty and looks very realistic with the bamboo branches and different shades of green. There are both curled and flat leaves. Rustic split bamboo slat fences have been used for centuries in many regions of the world where bamboo is available. It can be used on its own or attached to cover a chain link fence for added beauty and privacy. They are inexpensive and easy to install. Bamboo slats or split bamboo fences are woven together with black nylon coated wire, as opposed to other split bamboo slat fences in the market that usually tie their fences with bare metal wire exposing unsightly metal and rust. The fence is semi-opaque, which provides some privacy. The unique colour of the bamboo slats makes it one of the most gorgeous and striking, looking bamboo fences on the market today. The bamboo slats we use are about 1/2" wide. They are packed in a roll for convenience in shipping and setting up. Due to the natural material used, the colour will vary and may not look exactly like the photos shown. These fences are not solid, and you WILL be able to see through them.

This bamboo fence panel was exactly what I expected. It came wrapped properly and was easy to open. I wasn’t looking for a heavy structural fence, since I already have a strong black gate — I wanted something natural to create a softer feeling of separation and privacy. I got this screening for privacy from human neighbors and animal neighbors. My dogs are easily riled up by people that cut through the yaranimals that pass through , as well. This gives me a better sense of privacy, while also blocking things from my dogs some, too. Its a fabric of types, so its understandable that it has some give and stretch. I am still just trying to figure out how to work with that, which is difficult and Im hoping will be better with some time upright. I got mine for taller fences than mine, because I also have animals trying to come under the fence, and I thought staking it down to the ground at the bottom might help with that. Let me start by saying that these are VERY nice privacy screens! They came quickly and were packaged very well. The color is stunning and they are HEAVY. I expect them to last for a VERY long time. However, if you live anywhere that has wind or sand for your ground, then the stakes that are sent with it are grossly inadequate! We live in Florida and we have only sand and LOTS of wind. So, we had to go buy rebar and bolts/screws to make sure they stayed in the ground. I spent an additional 30.00 to make it work. Also, please note that in the instructions it tells you to use "screw H" but there is no "H". Go through the list of items in front of the instruction booklet before starting to assemble so that you can make sure you know which pieces are which. There are also over 60 screws to put in, so a small drill or socket wrench will save you a LOT of time and trouble. No grommets but wonderful to put up with all the reinforced areas to put cable ties in or however you wish to attach this. We are enclosing our entire fenced property mostly to keep our birds in.
