Needed ours a little taller on the short side. Poured pillars to raise the short side and added pavers to raise the high side. Love it! We had some tiny drips along the ceiling frame and resolved it with a quick roll of flex seal across the top of the bolts on top. No more leaks! Very sturdy since it is meant to be attached to a structure and the floor. We added curtain rods and curtains to block morning and evening sun. Disappointed as Half pea sized hail/rain mix a week or so ago popped holes through the first layer on top of the polycarbonate roof panels. Called AECOJOY number 818-581-5223 to discuss misleading info in description. Left a voicemail and return call came from 815-552-0574. The “AECOJOY accountant” claims he could issue a refund to the card but then said it won’t work and asked if I had CashApp, Zelle, PayPal, Venmo. Claimed he had to refund the amount to cover the ceiling panels then charge it the same amount to send new replacement panels out. My (his)Venmo is @Dwaindaley and asked what pic I was seeing… I asked him what picture SHOULD I be seeing? He described a few that were incorrect then one that was correct. I refused to pay and told him he was condescending, rude and that I did know how Venmo worked. He hung up on me. His Venmo profile pic was changed immediately. **6/22/25 Flipped the damaged panels and rolled white flex seal. Should help with hail and has already blocked heat. The pergola roof is designed with two separate louvred roofs that can be opened at a 90° angle and swivel closed to 0°, providing maximum control over the weather elements. At night, you can open the louvers and enjoy the night sky while relaxing in your favourite chair! If the weather changes and it starts to rain, simply close the louvers and continue enjoying the outdoor living area with friends and family. Light to moderate rain is easily drained through the integrated gutter system.

Haven’t put it up yet too cold and windy. It came packaged well and quickly. Will add more after set up. We set this up over the weekend just 2 people for the 12x20. It took about 8 hours in total. The outer curtain ( black out ) were 1 foot short of connecting on both sides I think we received the curtain for the 20x10 the netting was perfect and it is quite nice changing my review to 4* because of the outer curtain. We were looking for coverage for our deck that would also provide much needed shade for the sunroom and this was a good option. While most of the reviews stated it only took a few hours to complete, because we were installing it in the deck it did take us a lot longer. Our deck is 12x16 so the front legs had to be altered in order to level. My husband also upgraded the hardware to make it be more sturdy. There were multiple pieces that were dinted and a few holes that weren’t aligned properly so that’s why I 4 stars instead of 5. Overall I’m pleased with my purchase.
