This rug pad was just what we needed! Good product!

Good Cushioning, But Sizing Needs Improvement! I just received the Wayfair Basics Ultra Plush Rug Pad (12) today, and its a bit of a mixed bag. I purchased the 5x8 size specifically to go under my 5x8 area rug. On the positive side, the pad definitely lives up to its ultra plush name – it provides ample cushioning and it feels like it will offer good skid resistance, which is exactly what I was looking for. However, the main issue is the sizing. The pad itself is cut wider than the stated dimensions, particularly noticeable on the 8-foot side. This means it extends beyond the edges of my 5x8 rug, which isnt ideal. Now I have to decide whether its worth the hassle of returning it or if I should attempt to trim it down to fit properly. If the sizing was accurate, this would easily be a 4 or 5-star product.

This rug pad has a nice feel and has solved the problem of the slipping rug on my tile floor. It was easy to roll out.

It’s very plush and great quality. Flattened almost immediately. Buy your rug right away. My run is running late so I temporarily put the pad down and it’s itchy and scratchy as expected from a recycled rug pad. I would buy again!

This was a deal we took advantage of, and it was exactly what we needed to keep our runner in place. Just ensure that its the right thickness, or it could cause you to trip.
