Once this mat flattens out its excellent. Quite thick and arrives tightly rolled up. You need two people to unroll it. And then immediately put heavy weights on it. I used kettle bells. They stayed on for 2 days at which point it would stay flattish. Its been down for a week in the picture and the edges are still just a tiny bit curved but, its getting there.

When it first arrived, it needed a little time to flatten out since it was rolled for shipping. I placed some weight on the corners to help it lay flat, and once it did, it stayed in place well. My chair rolls smoothly across it, and it does a good job protecting my floors. Overall, it’s a good balance of function and style with a little setup at the beginning.

Great mat for my office. Pretty rose design However it’s hard to see on a rug with a design. It was very difficult to unroll by myself. Recommend 2 people to do it. I used my blow dryer to soften it to unroll.
