[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Slow cooker works as expected. I appreciate the ability to pick both temp and time separately as I’ve owned others that did not have that feature. Touch controls are reasonably sensitive and respond without unwanted changes. Unfortunately the outside of the ceramic insert arrived scratched, the packaging was sufficient so I can only assume it occurred before it was boxed up. Does not affect functionality but took away from the sense of newness for the appliance. I did read the instructions and found it completely unreasonable that the insert is listed as top rack dishwasher safe. Maybe someone out there has an adjustable top rack but I’ve never seen any top rack low enough to fit a slow cooker pot. That’s just absurd to me. Hand washing for now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hamilton Beach 7 qt Stay Go Programmable Slow Cooker does not disappoint. Pulling this slow cooker out of the box I was surprised with its large size and relative light weight. This is a seven quart slow cooker. It is big. The crock is substantial but the whole unit is light and easy to move around. I have arthritic shoulders and am a potluck enthusiast so being able to heft a slow cooker full of food is a make or break deal. It is a winner on that count. The first cook was with TWO chickens. They were a bit smaller but this 7 qt cooker handled the job with ease. I started the cook temp on high with plans to reduce to low setting after the first hour. I reset the programmable temp setting to low and waited for the timer to count down and roll over to warm setting. When the slow cooker should have ended the cook cycle, it did not. I monitored the remaining cook time and the slow cooker did finish cooking and rolled over to warm setting. I realized then that resetting the temp setting caused the time originally set to start over. Lesson learned. I assumed the timer would simply count down with the remaining time. That is my only complaint related to this slow cooker. The manual has a lot of verbiage but lacking in regard to settings for time and temp. The dial for heat level and timed cooking are easy to manage and only require a light touch to change the settings. The setup for time and temp is quick and easy. The slow cooker heated up quickly and held temperature with a robust simmer on high and a good slow simmer on low. Other than the first time use with changing temperature from high to low setting and that bouncing cook cycle back to the full original time setting, the time sets worked well and as promised. Just remember that changing cook level during a cook cycle requires resetting for remaining time. The lid latches work well and hold the lid securely on the crock when moving it around. I took this slow cooker filled with beef stew to a gathering and did not have a drop of the broth splash or seep out around the lids. It travels we. Regarding the lid latches, the lid latches are to be used only when moving the slow cooker around or taking rides in the car to those potluck parties. The latches are not to be used during cook cycles. The automatic rollover to warm setting after cook cycle is great. To be able to complete a cook cycle and have the slow cooker automatically switch to warm setting is especially helpful for those times when dinner time is a moving target. To be able to have a tasty meal that is not overcooked after a long day is almost like a reward. This Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker for the win!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Hamilton beach programmable stay or go slow cooker. This is a 7 quart slow cooker with a removable crock and glass lid. It features lock down clamps and a rubber gasket on the lid to seal in moisture. It also is handy when you plan to transport your cooked meal. The cord is standard and shorter than I’d like but it’s a safety feature of small appliances. I sat the slow cooker on my kitchen table and the cord was able to reach the outlet below the table. The display panel is sleek looking and very easy to use. You just choose heat level then choose one of the 5 preset cooking times. I really like the ability to cook anywhere from 2-10 hours just by selecting the matching button. I used it to make ravioli and it turned out delicious. It was easy to clean up. I removed any leftovers then filled the crock with hot soapy water to soak over night then it cleaned up nicely the next day.

It has built in latches so you're able to hook the lid down with ease and carry to any event. It is perfect for a cook out or a potluck! It has a lot of storage and is great for meal prepping or a family! I really like the button design and all the different settings. Whether I want to slow cook something on low for 8 hours or cook something on high for 2 hours, it is all very easy to use because of the button designs! The silver part of the slow cooker does get very hot though.

I like that it is digital so you can't bump any knobs accidentally. Cooking times range from 2 to 10 hours and automatically switches to warm when the cooking process is done. Mess-free vehicle while traveling with the clip-tight lid. Crock & lid is dishwasher safe.
