Perfect fit to a standard size stove. Protects little cat paws if they jump up prematurely. After using the burner I waited a minute before covering. Then placed my hand over the burner while stovetop still hot and it barely felt warm. Protects the surface and gives additional work space when prepping meals if needed. Does what it says. My contractors didn't cover my appliances while they were working, and they set tools on my stove. But I had this cover on, and the stove is blemish free :)
