Exactly what I needed to convert a recessed light to a hanging light. Easy to use.

Needed island lights in the kitchen that were decorative. These converters were not difficult to the install and these heavy lights are being held up fine.

It makes us able to change our can light fixture to a much brighter new fixture. Yeah!

We have so many can-lights throughout our house… we wonder if the contractor was just lazy. We’re trying out this modification to install a better light fixture to see how it looks. If it looks good we definitely plan on getting several more for bedrooms bathrooms to put in better designed functional light fixtures. I’ll update post once installed with a fixture that looks better.
