I never have a problem with Wayfair commitment to delivery, its always a 10 out of 10. This time it was a 15 out of 10. I was able to catch the delivery guy when he was bringing it to the front porch and I asked him if he would bring it to the back yard, he did it with a smile, kuddos to FedEx.
Box was intact, it was handled with care, once the reveal happened, it wall went sideways from that point. The Protective Cap for the umbrella was bent (attached photo). The packaging that the nuts and bolts were to come in was open and the nuts and bolts were at the bottom of the ziploc bag everything came in (attached photo). The box that the solar panel came in was damaged (attached photo). None of that was going to deter me from putting this bad boy together. To work I began. Reading the instructions, it came to my attention that Wayfair Quality Assurance Team is lagging. The instructions were incorrect (attached photos), which could have lead to the screws getting stripped. Still nothing was missing (so I thought) and I was able to figure out the word salad so onward I went. I was happy, it was looking fabulous and the last thing that needed to be connected was the solar panel. To discover that the solar panel that was provided (a four pin) (attached photo) did not fit the connector that takes a six pin (as illustrated on pg 6. ). So I put the protective cap and remembered that there should have been an umbrella cover provided. Went to the website and it states that umbrella cover is included, I checked the bog and all corresponding boxes and bags and the umbrella cover was not provided. I have reached out to Wayfair for a resolution. For now I am leaving my rating at a one star, I should hear back in two (2) days and will provide an update and hopefully a revised rating as well.
