This table was perfect for what I needed. I have a small recessed nook entryway space by the door to the garage, where I wanted to put a console type table with a small lamp, maybe a mirror over it, and have a drawer to put car and house keys, and garage remote. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it too. The space I had for such a table is only about 32-33 inches wide, with a wall on either side as it is recessed. Most of these types of tables that I have found across various websites and elsewhere were at least 35 inches wide, and some considerably wider than that. If I found anything smaller than that, it was too small, only about 24 inches wide, which did not fill the space nicely the way I wanted it to. This was the perfect size, with only about a half inch or so to spare on at the bottom of the legs where the baseboard and trim take up space. That is where you always have to measure a recessed nook or corner area, becuase the space at the floor level will not be as wide as it is higher up the wall, due to trim work encroaching into the space about a half inch to an inch on either side.
