For the most part, these corbels are great. I really like how a variety of size options was available so that we could figure out what would look best on our porch. They seem solid and well made. My one issue is that I ordered the enclosed version of the corbels (The upper angled sides were supposed to be connected by a back panel, leaving a sort of tunnel and openings on the upper and lower flat sides. That's also how it looks on the pictures.) However, mine came totally open, with only the sides and front parts there. Sort of the perfect place for birds to put nests or lots of leaves and stuff to collect. Because the carpenter needed them right away, I could not send them back and spent about five hours buying parts, sizing, cutting, glueing, and painting to attach formica to the backs of the 10 corbels. I don't think my jerry-rigged part will show because it will be above eye level. It was just a frustrating time-suck for a thing that was supposed to come more complete.
