Purchased the largest size, came the next day, package intact, all accessories came with it. Just had the contractor installed. It seems very easy to install if you have a saw to cut plywood for support. I am not a baker (we gave my sister in law the mixer as she used to bake. However, when she moved, she didn’t want to take the heavy mixer with her). I had it store in the pantry. I have extra cabinet space that I could spare; decided to install this lift. My cabinet is 21Wx19.5Dx28H. The contractor used the depth, turned it side way, cut off about 2 inches, we had it installed sideway. I still have a good amount of space underneath that I could add a pull out rack to store air fryer rack/pan or cutting boards. The mixer is heavy (don’t know the weight exactly) but the space of the lift (keep in mind we turned it sideway), I can use it to store instant pot. Because of the height of the mixer, he installed the lift mechanism a little lower (when push back in place, will not hit the cabinet); hence it’s not same level as countertop, which I am ok with.
It’s an expansive item, worth it if you bake a lot and don’t want to carry your heavy mixer out each time. For me, I have extra cabinets space and free up the pantry space (where I had it before) plus cool to look at. Some reviewers said does not come with the butcher block on top (as pictures). I was looking for material to use but this does come with the butcher block (came in separate packages and delivered at two different times). (FYI, typically I read reviews before purchasing any items. I thought I return a favor for anyone who wants to get one).
